About our Method Acting Training Programme:          

               The Interanimation Theatre Company's

               Actor Training programme (IATP)

 

   A great opportunity for actors - beginners and intermediate levels!

         If you have basic experience of acting and intend to pursue Acting

   professionally, then our Actor Training programme is exactly the one you

      need. The programme also caters for the needs of those who have

   already graduated drama school, but have not found an agent or have not

 performed sufficiently and are now looking to hone and showcase their skills.

     The programme offers a Stanislavski-based approach to

      acting for stage & screen. The Programme introduces participants to the            

             practical strategies of Method Acting - the approach, which has

         equipped many theatre and film actors, among whom Marlon Brando,

       Paul Newman, Al Pacino, Brian Timoney, James Dean, Dustin Hoffman,

            Marilyn Monroe, Robert De Niro, Uta Hagen and many more. The

   training programme takes place in a friendly theatre environment.Participants will

           benefit from working with directors who are actively engaged in the

theatre and film industries and have taught Acting at most of the well established

drama schools. There are seven intensive training sessions, from 4pm to 10pm on

Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on 1 March 2011.

A successful term culminates in an Acting Showcase attended by industry professionals.

This Spring, the Showcase is at the end of April / beginning of May. (the precise date will

be negotiated with all participants) It will involve a performance of a thirty-minute

play or a set of audition pieces.
